BABYBJÖRN High Chair

You can continue using the BABYBJÖRN High Chair as long as your child can sit comfortably in the chair and you can lock the safety table in place. Children can usually fit into the chair up until the age of around 3 or until they are 38 ins/95 cms tall, but this is, of course, hugely individual as children grow at different rates. The high chair is ergonomically designed and has a curved backrest to provide an optimum seating position for your child’s body.

Important! The safety table must be positioned close to the child’s body so that he or she cannot stand up. 

There is no upper weight limit for our high chair. As long as the child fits in the chair, the chair can take the child’s weight.

The high chair’s safety table should be locked into position, close to the child. This will ensure that the child’s position in the high chair is both stable and secure and that he/she cannot stand up. The childproof, two-stage safety lock also prevents your child from opening and closing the high chair and from collapsing the chair into its transport position.

Important! Remember never to leave your child unsupervised in the high chair.

You can move the safety table into different positions by pressing the red adjuster button on the underside of the table at the same time as you push the table closer to or further away from the child.

To open or close the table, push in the red safety lock on the black knob and then turn the knob. Remember to hold the child securely at all times when you lift him/her into or out of the chair.

Important! The safety table must always be locked in position when your child is sitting in the chair.

Start with the safety table set as far out as it will go in the in-use position. Then push the red adjuster button on the underside of the table. Pull the black fold locks out over the red adjuster button and collapse the safety table, and then push in the leg locks and collapse the legs.)

We recommend wiping it with a damp cloth. The detachable tray can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
